Divorce Case – it took my now ex-wife with the help of her son and his family just 90 minutes to walk out on me after 39 years of marriage. When asked “Why?” Her response was, “You don’t love me ... I called and talked with Eric Klein and after just a couple of minutes, I had this “gut-feeling” that this was the law firm that should be representing me. A second meeting was scheduled, and it was at this time I met an extraordinary attorney Mariajose Rivera (Maria) – a person I honestly had a vision about even before the first mediation took place. A special professional who would save me from all this divorce craziness. Someone who truly understood family law and more importantly was the first and only one who fully understood what I not only wanted as an outcome, but what was right. Again, when I first saw Maria, I knew she was the person who I had a prior vision of helping me and felt quickly at peace. She was always professional and gave quick and attentive responses to all my communications. There is no question because of the entire Klein Law Group, and especially Maria, I was able to start my life over again and furthermore only needing to completely focus financially on myself. I believe there is a God who makes living angels – one of them is Maria. Thank you for being alive and working at the same time as me … what are the odds. Finally, I can say with trust and faith that it was a great experience having attorney Maria in my corner filled with confidence. I was taken care of like I was family.

Eric has always been available or called me back in a very reasonable amount of time. He is always willing to explain anything and everything so that I understand it all. He is always patient with my questions. He schedules meetings for my convenience. He listens to and retains what I have to say.... I couldn't say enough good things about Eric. He handled an auto accident for me and he handled all my estate planning. During the auto accident case, he always kept me apprised of the situation. He gave me all the information he had. He made recommendations as to whether I should accept the settlement being offered but he also didn't push me in any direction but allowed me to make my own decisions. With my estate planning he explained everything to ensure I knew what I was actually putting in place for myself should I not be able to make decisions. My only complaint would be that he left the state I live in so I can no longer use him as my lawyer.

I came to see Eric for my bankruptcy from a close friend who knew him socially for many years. I was impressed with him after meeting him in his office, which happened to be the very last time I ever saw him again. After retaining him (or as I was coldly informed later, after retaining "the firm"), I... was pawned off onto a barely experienced associate who thereafter handled everything, and I mean everything. I was told Eric "oversaw" what work his associates did, but it was like I was intentionally prevented from ever seeing or even speaking to him again! I had to either be satisfied with this associate (who needed a crash course in how to be personable), or else I could just walk away from the hefty retainer I paid him and go elsewhere. So what was there to do? I just swallowed it up and stuck with him. But I was, and still am, completely dissatisfied with the manner in which I was treated, and I would NEVER recommend Eric or his firm again to anyone.

I have many friends that were giving me lawyer referrals, and quite frankly, was getting a little confused until someone mentioned Eric to me saying that he was a dedicated, sensitive and informed lawyer that would listen attentively, never keep you waiting and always returned calls promptly. I retai...ned Eric on those merits and found all to be quite true. He handled every aspect of my case and I was never passed off to a secretary or paralegal.
