Eduard Kotlyarov Jr.

Born in Fairfax, Virginia, and residing primarily in Boca Raton, Florida, and Tupelo, Mississippi; Eduard is a first-generation American born of a Russian father (Moscow) and a Spanish mother via Lima, Peru. Eduard has lived, traveled, and worked throughout the world; and collected through these experiences, a wide breadth of knowledge and skills that he applies daily to his personal and professional operations. Prior to focusing his career on law, Eduard acquired almost two decades of professional business experience through a variety of entrepreneurial ventures and partnerships. Eduard has had international development experience in the USA, EU and Latin America. In his role as a business executive, Eduard spent significant time on product launch, campaign management, brand development and product deployment, start-up launch strategy & implementation, and he was a party to various negotiations and acquisitions. Throughout his business career he was also responsible for developing and overseeing regional, national and international corporate management initiatives. After earning both a Master of Business Administration degree, and several years later, a Master of Science degree, Eduard went on to continue following his one true passion: the law.

From a very young age, Eduard expressed his desire to pursue a career as a legal professional. And after many years spent acquiring professional business experience and two advanced degrees, Eduard proceeded to follow his natural course of becoming an advocate, attorney and counselor. As an attorney, Eduard strongly follows a client-centered model of legal representation. Eduard is known for going that extra-mile, time and time again, to make sure that his clients are getting the time and attention that they both need and deserve.

As a founding member of Kotlyarov Law Offices PLLC ("KLO"), Eduard’s previous experience parlayed quickly into an arsenal of knowledge and tools that continue to fuel his abilities as an attorney and counselor. His years of entrepreneurial experience in various service sector industries coupled with his extensive knowledge of brand management, development, and deployment provide KLO with crucial insight vital to our clients’ corporate success. A stern negotiator and a seasoned management consultant in his own right, Eduard serves as a fierce defender and ally for KLO’s corporate clientele while providing a unique and progressive insight into achieving individual client goals.

In his role as a business attorney and counselor, Eduard also advises limited liability companies (LLCs), partnerships, and sole proprietors in most areas of modern business transactions, including: full service restaurant (bar & nightclub) development, planning, & leases; commercial leases, residential leases, contract review, drafting and negotiations; business planning, startups, business organization, vendor & supplier agreements, service contracts, sponsorship agreements, event planning, code enforcement, media & technology contracts and agreements, landlord/tenant issues, and regulatory matters among many others facets of business.

As a sharp and cunning business litigator, Eduard knows that sometimes litigation is the only way to enforce the rights, remedies, and interests of his clients. Through his various past and present representations, Eduard has experience litigating the following types of cases: commercial disputes, construction contracts, commercial and residential real estate, shareholder agreements, partnership disputes, and litigation arising from the various departmental operations of companies– from formation of business entities, through the negotiation of employment contracts, and matters pertaining to business dissolution.

As a civil litigator, Eduard represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide array of tort actions such as defamation of character (libel & slander), invasion of privacy claims, intentional infliction of emotional distress claims, fraud, embezzlement, misappropriations, negligence, in addition to several other torts. Eduard uses his keen sense of being able to quickly judge and adapt to situations to further advance the claims and positions of clients, giving KLO's clients a definitive advantage over their opposition.

Outside of the office and courtroom, Eduard has enjoyed being an avid endurance athlete. He has competed in over 45+ events ranging from marathons, triathlon, 5k, 10k, OCR (obstacle course races), duathlon, and various survival/adventure challenges. In addition to his love for the law and competition, is his love for food. As a classically trained chef, Eduard enjoys crafting his own culinary creations with a strong emphasis on Asian and Eastern foods. His extensive travel has contributed greatly to his creativity in the kitchen. On his “down-time” you may be able to find Eduard enjoying one of the many gorgeous beaches that Florida has to offer, camping, enjoying live music, or spending time with his two beloved dogs—Suka and Vito.
