Estate Planning Documents

After closing our business in Chicago, my husband and myself moved to Florida 3 years ago to retire and spend the rest of our lives in paradise. At the time, we had a living trust created in Illinois, so we needed to amend and restate it following Florida laws. We were lucky to be referred to Pamela ...Polani by a trusted friend and we didn't look further. She came to have the first consultation in the comfort of our home. Pamela quickly grasped all details about our family and our financial situation and explained in detail what we need to have in place to secure our assets in compliance with the FL laws and for the best interest of our heirs once we are gone. She generated twelve (12) estate documents, which reflected our wishes on all necessary topics. This was done professionally and with great attention to everybody, who would be potentially involved when those documents need to be used. Now we have piece of mind and enjoy the most of life at our age. And the last, but not the least, in addition to been trustworthy, Pamela has a charming personality, easygoing and a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Pamela!

Professional

Pam was a true professional and extremely thorough when providing legal assistance with our eighteen year old daughters will/dnr/health surrogate agreements. I would definitely recommend Pam and use her for my other children.

A wonderful firm.

I don't know if I can adequately express how superlative and supportive the service I received from Pam and her associates while setting up my end of life documents and my trust. I'll give one example. Pam had recommended that I get a certain document from the IRS and gave me detailed and comprehensi...ve instructions as to how to properly fill out the paperwork needed for this. Despite all of this, the IRS refused my request. When I told her assistant, Corrie, what had happened, Corrie herself submitted an application on my behalf. When that failed, Pam got on the phone with the IRS and spent a considerable amount of time trying to convince them of the validity of my request. Ultimately, she prevailed. And with all of this effort on their part over and beyond what anyone could possibly expect, I wasn't charged anything extra at all. Pam and Corrie are always there to answer any questions I might have and to run interference for me when I hit a roadblock. Usually I don't need to call them, because the instructions that they left with the completed documents are very detailed. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. They are professional, more than competent and accessible.
