Biography
Peri Rose Huston-Miller graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2003 receiving her B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology. Following several years in the legal field, Ms. Huston-Miller earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in 2009. During law school, Ms. Huston-Miller served as an Editor on Nova Law Review, advanced in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, was an active member of ATLA (American Trial Lawyers Association), and held several student leadership positions while excelling academically. Ms. Huston-Miller began her career with Derrevere, Hawkes, Black and Cozad as a law clerk while attending law school in 2008 and now practices in the area of complex commercial litigation specializing in construction defect and insurance claims. Ms. Huston-Miller’s professional memberships include the American Bar Association, DRI – The Voice of the Defense Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association,the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar.
