I just can't say enough about my experience with Gerald Salerno and his representation in my legal case. I was referred to Mr. Salerno by a former client of his who happened to be a long time friend of mine. I was pleasantly surprised from the very beginning. When I first contacted his office and br...iefly explained to him what my case entailed, he was very empathetic and professional. His fees were very reasonable and fair. Mr. Salerno worked diligently and was successful in winning my case that was both complicated and time consuming. He answered my calls and emails, promptly and took my legal issues on in a very serious and respectful manner. Mr. Salerno defies every negative opinion of what a "LAWYER" really is or should be. He was successful in obtaining a positive outcone for me and I am so very grateful for his expertise. I will recommend him to anyone I meet that is in need of of legal counsel...he is the best!!

I was in search of a good attorney to assist me in a family case matter and found Gerry Salerno on this AVVO site. It was late on a Saturday evening when I reached out to him through his website and he responded immediately via email, which really shocked me. From the beginning he was down to earth..., intelligent and very professional. My case was very complicated. I paid him a small retainer with an agreement to pay monthly installments. Gerry did not file a petition on my behalf and was not present in court as we had agreed upon. I lost my case, which was expected, as it was a "long shot" to begin with; however I did face the daunting feat alone with no Lawyer by my side. I did have the opportunity to get to know Gerry, personally as a man and not just a lawyer during my case and for a very lengthy period of time afterwards. Although much of our relationship was very tumultuous, in my opinion Gerry is very tolerant, kind, empathetic, intelligent and overall a good man. He is a very good attorney...knows the law with many years of experience. I feel certain that whomever hires him will get the best legal representation. I highly recommend Gerry Salerno as a Lawyer.

First of all I have to say that I don’t like lawyers, and I have never written a review. This being said, I have to write this review because for the first time, I was able to find someone and discovered a true attorney. I had a big legal problem, a short amount of time and little money. Mr. Salern...o was kind and he explained every step of the process and was always concerned about my case. He is a humane person that treats you with respect and dignity and sees you as a victim in a legal matter, not as a number or a commodity. Mr. Salerno not only reviewed my papers, but explained the process in a way that I could understand. We worked out a reasonable retainer and a payment plan. Many lawyers out there will never meet you in person; you just deal with assistants and secretaries. When I had questions, Mr. Salerno always accepted my calls several times in the evening or on the weekend. Mr. Salerno is there for you and allows you to have control over your case. I will definitely recommend Gerald Salerno. This guy is very smart and will always explain to you the whole picture, in order for you to make an informed decision. I was able to receive a positive outcome for my case.

Gerald is the worse attorney that I never saw he is a thief he took my money and did not do anything that I agreed on. He either has no knowledge of family law and criminal law or just did not care about the case . I you want to destroy your life hire Gerald because he knows how to mess up your life ...by telling you do the things in wrong way and let you sign agreement that will be bad for you he will charge you more money to put comfortable the adverse party he will fight against you as client and force you agree with everything the other party wants. he will never work on your case. the only thing he will help you is go to the court and force you or let you agree with you adversary. I can go into specific detail of all the wrongs he has done, but there are way to many. I was false accused of a domestic violence although I had proof that I was innocent gerald couldn't show my innocence so he told me to sign an agreement of a restraining order he is definitely an idiot. He will never inform you about your case because he doesn't even review it. he doesn't have strategies to help you.I which the authorities can take a measure against this guy or cancel his license to force him go back to school. Please I please you guys if you are thinking about hiring this Lawyer DON'T!!! You will regret it.

Gerald salerno took my money and did not do anything that we agreed on. He either has no knowledge of family law or just did not care about my child support case and only cared about prolonging my case so he can charge me more money. Part of our agreement was not to exceed a certain price. Before he ...even filed my case he claimed to spent all the money I paid him. He billed me for absurd things such as writing a bill and saving an email when I was already billed for him reading the email. How can I have to pay for him clicking a save button. I can go into specific detail of all the wrongs he has done, but there are way to many. He did not inform me of the law, he took every measure possible to cost me more money. He took 7 months to actually set a court date after he was hired. And got no results from the first court hearing. Needless to say I am out of alot of money and haven't even started the process of getting child support. He screwed me out of any back child support I could have gotten and also wasted 7 months of my time and money and all he did was sit on my case and do nothing productive to get it resolved. If you are thinking about hiring this Lawyer DON'T!!! You will regret it. He is unethical, incompetent, and unorganized.
