Jill G. Weiss

Jill G. Weiss was born in New York, New York.  A graduate of Woodmere Academy in Woodmere, New York, Ms. Weiss received her B.A. from Emory University in Economics and a M.B.A. in Finance from New York University.  After working for several years as a business analyst for MetLife in New York,  Ms. Weiss graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2003, magna cum laude, where she was member of Law Review.  Ms. Weiss began her legal career in 2003 at the law firm of Ward, Damon & Posner P.A. practicing family law.  From 2004 until 2007, she was an Associate at Richman Greer. P.A. where she was involved in all facets of complex commercial and family law litigation. In October 2007, Ms. Weiss was employed at the law firm of Rutherford Mulhall, P.A. where she continued to practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation as well as construction law.  

In January 2011, Ms. Weiss joined Sachs, Sax Caplan P.L. where her practice focused on representing plaintiffs in complex construction defect matters. Ms. Weiss joined Dimond Kaplan & Rothstein, P.A. in March 2014 and continues her practice in construction defect matters and complex commercial litigation.  Ms. Weiss is the Immediate Past President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association (2013-2014).   She has also served as the President of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (Palm Beach County Chapter 2008-2009) as well as the Secretary for the statewide organization (2009-2010).  Ms. Weiss currently serves on the Professional Ethics Committee and the Annual Convention Committee of the Florida Bar.   She is the Vice President Designate for  Directors of Susan G. Komen for the Cure (South Florida Affiliate).  Ms. Weiss is as a founding Director of the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County.  In 2010, Ms. Weiss received the Florida Association for Women Lawyers’ Leader in the Law Award.  She was also a 2012 Nominee for the Women in Leadership Award given by Executive Women of the Palm Beaches. Ms. Weiss has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine from 2010 through 2013.
