Erica Helene Kobloth

Erica Helene Kobloth was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. Ms. Kobloth’s passion for the law began young. In 2002, Ms. Kobloth attended the National Student Leadership Conference held at American University, participating in the Law & Advocacy Program. While attending the conference, she participated in a criminal mock trial, earning commendations for her performance as counsel. Ms. Kobloth also studied business law and participated in a mock trial with her high school’s American law course in 2003. Always seeking to help others, Ms. Kobloth regularly volunteered at nursing homes paying special attention to those with Alzheimer’s, and became an EMT in order to volunteer for the local first aid squad.

Ms. Kobloth began working in the legal field while a senior in high school, working for a law firm focusing primarily in family law. Ms. Kobloth continued her employment with this firm through college.

In 2003, Ms. Kobloth commenced her studies in Criminal Justice at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Ms. Kobloth was a member of the University Honors Program throughout the course of her college career. Ms. Kobloth wrote and presented a thesis on Battered Woman’s Syndrome , graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude.

In 2007, Ms. Kobloth relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where she earned her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010. Ms. Kobloth graduated with a Certificate in Family Law, furthering her research in the area of domestic violence, preparing an advanced legal research paper titled “Battered Woman’s Syndrome: A Man’s Castle, a Woman’s Dungeon”, as well as writing in the area of juvenile criminal law, and earning a Deans List commendation. In July 2011, Ms. Kobloth joined The Ticktin Law Group and is currently working in the Deerfield Office.
