Angela Maria Pagan

Angela Pagán, Esq. is a dedicated criminal defense trial attorney and the founder of Angie Pagán Law, PLLC, based in West Palm Beach. With over two decades of legal experience, Ms. Pagán began her career at the Office of the Public Defender in Palm Beach County, where she served as an Investigator and Assistant Public Defender for nine years before entering private practice in 2012 and later founding her firm Angie Pagán Law in 2014.

A proud graduate of the University of Florida, Ms. Pagán earned dual Bachelor honors degrees in Psychology and Criminology before graduating Cum Laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During her studies, she held leadership roles as President of the Criminal Law Association and Vice President of the Law Student Council. She was selected to participate in two study abroad programs, expanding her expertise through legal studies in both France and the Netherlands.

As a woman of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent, Ms. Pagán is deeply rooted in her culture and community. She is a Founding Sister of the Chi Chapter of Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. She has held numerous leadership positions, including Past President of the Palm Beach County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Her commitment to justice and pro bono work is further reflected in her role as a volunteer Guardian Advocate and her previous work as Co-Chair with the MacArthur Foundation’s Racial and Ethnic Disparity Team. In 2025 she received the Legal Aid Society's 15th Judicial Circuit Bronze Pro Bono Award. She has served on the Board of the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association for 5 years, received the 2024 PBCHBA Member of the Year Award and was installed as President in January 2026.
