Christopher Matthew Galeta

Mr. Galeta has been a resident of Palm Beach County for over 45 years. He grew up in Lake Clarke Shores. After law school, he moved to Palm Beach Gardens where he resides with his wife, Laura and daughter, Kersten. His son, Robert, is 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and is a pilot serving overseas.

He is a graduate of Forest Hill High School, Palm Beach Community College, and Florida Atlantic University. After receiving his undergraduate degree he attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he graduated in 1999.

Mr. Galeta began his career with a local insurance defense law firm, Peterson Bernard in West Palm Beach. He then went to work for Travelers Insurance Company as Associate Counsel with his primary responsibilities being defense of automobile and premises liability matters. He was next employed by GEICO Insurance Company as Associate Counsel and concentrated his work in the defense of automobile liability cases. In 2004 he went to work for Sellars, Marion, and Bachi, P.A. His practice expanded into the areas of Plaintiff personal injury; premises liability; product liability; wrongful death, tire defects, construction defect, food poisoning, property, business, and commercial litigation. He is respected among his peers, current, and past clients, for his legal abilities, zealous representation, and advocacy. He’s also a member of Florida’s Legal Elite in 2012 and 2013.
