I am passionate about helping protect your legacy!! From drafting to administering the simple will to the most sophisticated estate plan.
My name is Sasha Klein and I am a partner at Ward Damon and chair of their estate and tax planning group. With over 14 years of experience and a post-doctorate degree (LL.M) in tax law, I specialize in counseling individuals and families in i) estate planning, ii) personal tax matters and ii) the administration of a loved one's estate/trust. I help families solve their most sensitive issues. To that end, I will guide you on structuring wealth to achieve your goals, including protecting against risk and minimizing transfer taxes at each generation.
My experience differs from many estate planning attorneys because I spent time in-house serving as Fiduciary Counsel for boutique wealth management firms. Such experience allows me to be sensitive to the Trustee and Fiduciary issues that arise for families. To that end, I provide tailored advice on trustee and family governance structures to preserve business enterprises and manage potentially sensitive family dynamics.
In addition to practicing estate/tax planning, I am proud to call myself an author, lecturer, and community leader. I lecturer nationally and am a frequently published author on a range of estate planning, wealth management, and tax law topics. I am also very involved in national and state bar associations, and local estate and trust counsels. I also volunteer and support several civic and charitable organizations to enhance and better the community.
Always passionate and spirited, Sasha loves yoga, fitness, nutrition, traveling, and spending time with her family.
