BEST ATTORNEY TO HIRE...

I contacted the law firm in December of 2014 after the mortgage company began foreclosure on my property and I truly believed that I was going to lose my home and that nothing could be done to save it. I'm a single mother of three kids and I was sure I would be losing my home and I was hopeless. Fr...om the first contact with the law firm they gave me hope and reassured me that, they would fight for me and help keep me and my kids in my home. Every worry, every concern and every doubt I would have during the entire 7 months was met with positivity and reassurance. The law firm answered all my questions regardless of what I asked. I always felt like the firm cared and Juan was always a email away with quick responses. August 2015 I received the news that my home was no longer going to be foreclosed on and my case was out of the courts. I am thankful that I choose the right firm to represent me and I just happened to find them on a Google search. I would would highly recommend the firm to anyone who wants to save their home, I was treated like I mattered and that's very important when your going up against a mortgage company with dozens of lawyers working for them. Thank you Sunshine State Law Group... Devona. Sunrise, Fl.

Thank you for saving our first home

We bought our house in October 2006, when the housing market was at the highest peak, and signed an 80/20 loan. The 80% loan had an adjustable interest rate fluctuating between 8% and 15% and the 20% loan had a 14.125% fixed interest rate. We were paying approximately $2000 a month in interest only p...ayments for a 3 bed 2 bath home. After the housing market crashed we were upside down on our mortgage and unable to refinance with our rate adjusting every 6 months. We applied for many loan modifications on our own without success. After many failed attempts for a modification, my husband and I decided to hire a law firm in 2010 to help us. Sunshine State Law Group (Juan, Roxie, Heather and Mr. Rohan) helped us save our home. First, Mr. Rohan helped us settle our 20% loan with a discounted offer which the bank accepted on 2012. In the meantime Juan and Roxie were helping us get our 80% loan modified. At the same time Mr. Rohan replied to motions, claims, attended hearings and depositions, etc. In the summer of 2014 I was certain we were going to lose our home but that following November, Juan and my husband convinced me to apply for a loan modification one more time. We finally received a trial modification offer of $1212 per month including taxes and insurance. We were so happy we accepted it immediately (first reasonable offer in 5 years). We finished our trial modification on March 2015 and signed our permanent modification in April 2015. We want to thank the Sunshine State Law Group for their patience and help throughout this tedious process. From: Angela and Christopher

Wish There Were More Words to Say Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Juan, Roxanna, and Rory I wish there were more words to say thank you, than just THANK YOU. I spoke to 3 different Law firms and each one said the same thing. “You want to keep your house? I can’t promise you that you can keep your house, but I can keep you in it till you sell ...it and do a deed in lieu of foreclosure, they not doing any refinancing. You pay me $1000 down and 500 monthly and put it on the market, I may be able to get you some moving monies.” I heard this from 3 different attorneys. Your team spoke to me, had me send the foreclosure notice and all documentation to your office. Then called me 3 days later and said we reviewed all your paperwork and feel that you have a strong case and we feel you have a real chance to keep your home. I signed up and you guys kept me up to date on everything,. When the bank pushed, you pushed back, when they gave me ridiculous options, you challenged and in the end I got the fairest deal I every could have every expected. I hadn’t paid my mortgage in 4 years and thought I was done, Your team and only your team saw the practices that helped put me in this situation and rebuild my confidence that I had rights too! There are a lot of legal firms out there just taking money and filing papers, I feel truly blessed to have found a lawyer that really wants to handle and work the cases. Michael Jupiter,Fl 33458

THANK YOU SUNSHINE STATE LAW GROUP AND ATTORNEY RORY K ROHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had been dealing with the bank for a modification for years now, no results. We had been denied every option and foreclosure was at our doorstep, I even had my house listed for short sale with 3 offers to buy it. Devastated about losing the battle, I researched online, called 3 attorneys and they... all told me the same thing, that it was too late and that the foreclosure was inevitable. The 4th attorney I found was Rory. I sent an email and immediately, his Legal Assistant Roxi emailed me back and said there was slight hope, but that I had to act right away. After talking on the phone for about an hour, I felt a level of trust and peace with her and I told her, we will try. My house had been assigned a sale date by the courts, it even sold (bank bought it). Rory and his team advised me that we should appeal the decision, which we won, the judge reversed the decision to give us time to apply for a modification all over again. :) A year and a half have gone by since that reversal, with paperwork back and forth, updating financials, filing motions to postpone the sale again, even got a denial at mediation with the bank, saying I didn't qualify for any of the programs. After all the anxiety of the unknown, which is very frustrating because we felt like giving up after so long and being pulled around about status, I am excited to say that we have been approved for a Trail Modification!!!! We fought so long cause we worked very hard to initially purchase the house, put a lot of savings for a down payment and due to extreme hardship circumstances we were not able to keep up with the payments. We will be forever thankful to Rory (professional and knowledgeable), Roxi (personable, charismatic and professional) and Juan (patient, very on top of his work, wonderful to work with). Words cannot even express my gratitude. Not only did they fight for a modification but got us an affordable monthly payment. We will stay in this house for a long, long time. And truth is, we LOVE our house and everything it means to us, hard work, home for our children, a sense of accomplishment, the place where we have built our family!!! Once again, THANK YOU!!! "

Don't Hire Him

His law clerks contacted me telling me how great he was and that he could win my case hands down. He doesn't take cases he can't win. My case had Robo signers, Fraud, etc. I sent him $1,000. retainer, signed the contract. Never got copy with his signature. Never spoke with him only law clerks. They w...anted me to do all the work for them. Sent out letter that I had to retype due to errors. Then decided my case was too much trouble 1 week before sale date and put in to withdraw. They moved from Valrico to Pembroke Pines and refused to take my calls. Never spoke to Rory Rohan, ever!

Ms. Hodes, The statements you have made against this firm are not accurate. Mr. Rohan's office has always been in Pembroke Pines. We did not move from Pembroke Pines to Valrico. We do however, have satellite offices in Valrico, Riverview, Plant City, West Palm Beach, Key West, among a few others. You called our office looking for help in June of 2012. You were looking for an attorney to attempt a quiet title action. 95% of cases have robo-signers and fraud. From the onset you were advised that you had already lost your case and that judges do not give away free houses. Based on the verbal information you provided, we determined we could attempt to vacate the foreclosure judgment that was entered against you the previous year, on 08/30/2011. We sent you a retainer which was not returned until August of 2012. The retainer was returned only because you were issued a sale date. When your case was accepted, we advised you that we needed a complete copy of your court file and the evidence you stated you had, which was needed in order to vacate the judgment. The required information is not of public record. It is your responsibility to provide an attorney the necessary information needed to defend your case as they are in your possession. We can't make the documents up. We have documented over 31 emails and phone calls requesting the evidence in your possession, in addition to your responses that you would be sending the documents via mail. The documents were never sent or received by your own admission. It would be impossible for any attorney to be able to successfully vacate a judgment without evidence. Mr. Rohan did call you to explain the circumstances and is the person that advised you that he was refunding 100% of the fees paid to his firm. Mr. Rohan explained to you that he was refunding the fees because he was not going to be able to vacate the judgment being the documents you had were never sent to our office. If the evidence had been provided by you as stated to you in writing in a timely manner, we would have had sufficient time to have a hearing before a judge to attempt in vacating the foreclosure judgment, and then move forward with attempting to reach resolution with the your bank. Mr. Rohan has been successful in saving many, many homes which results in many thankful clients. Thank you
