An auto accident in which I was injured by another careless driver left me with what is known as "low impact" bodily damage which was not evident at the scene or time of the accident. There was minimal body damage to my auto. Low impact damage can be especially problematic when certain conditions... are previous to an accident. That being said, Bob Johnson accepted my case, ran with it all the way with it to the end, resulting in a monetarysettlement which (as I previously noted) is a difficult thing to achieve in a case such as mine. Pain & suffering damages in an accident are limited by the age of the injured due to the fact that insurance companies represent that you have x number of years in your "expected" lifetime to suffer with pain.. After two years of independent (as they call it) medical evsluations by the other driver's insurance company, Bob suggested I settle to avoid litigation in which the fact that I did not have any "obvious" bodily damage would end up costing me money in legal and court costs. Furthermore my own insurer LIBERTY MUTAL attempted to limit my PIP award & in fact, raised my premium twice no less after the accident while claiming it was "across the board" increases. The first increase was 35% of my monthly premium.
