Olga Butkevich

Olga Butkevich represented the opposing party in my civil case, and her actions throughout the litigation process raised serious concerns about fairness and ethical conduct. After my attorneys withdrew, she proceeded to serve me using an email I had never designated or registered with the court, even... though her firm has followed proper procedure in similar cases. She filed motions certifying I had been properly served, knowing that I had not consented to electronic service and that certified mail sent to the wrong address had been returned. Despite receiving physical proof that the court had relied on invalid service, she never corrected the record or informed the judge. When I raised objections, she dismissed them and continued to move forward with dispositive motions that ultimately led to my case being dismissed without me being given a fair opportunity to respond. In her post-dismissal communication, she acknowledged using only email and blamed me for “ignoring” it, despite clear evidence that the method of service was improper from the start. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Olga Butkevich to anyone expecting ethical advocacy or respect for procedural due process.
