Heather Mcnamara Ruda

Heather McNamara Ruda, Esq. is the owner and managing partner of Heather McNamara Ruda, P.A., a West Palm Beach law firm founded in 2010.  Ms. Ruda focuses her practice on family law clients, commercial and corporate cases, probate and guardianship, will drafting, and representing individuals and businesses in real estate transactions.

Heather McNamara Ruda is a 5th generation Floridian.  She has been a resident of Palm Beach County since the 1970's.  After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, with a B.A. in Political Science, Ms. Ruda attended and earned her law degree from Stetson University College of Law.  In addition to serving as Notes Editor of the pretigious Stetson Law Review, Ms. Ruda obtained awards in oral and written argument, and went on to become a teaching fellow in the areas of research and writing.  After obtaining her law degree, Ms. Ruda immediately started practicing in Palm Beach County in the areas of commercial litigation, banking law, real estate, probate and guardianship.  In 2000, Ms. Ruda became associated with the well-respected local firm of Burman, Critton, Luttier & Coleman, where she practiced for 10 years, focusing on commercial litigation and family law.  As the research and writing attorney at the Burman firm,  Ms. Ruda briefed appellate cases for the Fourth District Court of Appeals and the Florida Supreme Court.  She has also argued in front of the Fourth District Court of Appeals.

Ms. Ruda is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, and the Palm Beach County Justice Association.  She is a trained mediator and has completed the training requirements for a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.

In 2010, Ms. Ruda took her considerable experience and opened the law firm of Heather McNamara Ruda, P.A., with offices in a historical West Palm Beach building.  The focus of the firm is providing the client with the perfect combination of extensive legal experience and personal attention.  All of the firm clients are treated to Ms. Ruda's personal attention and their issues are personally handled by a lawyer, not by staff.
