WOW,, WATCH OUT
Does not keep you informed with your case, he did not review any of the evidence, and was very hard to reach. It took a lot for him to return calls. He quoted me one price and did another. I would not recommend him as a attorney.
I'm not sure which client this is but I do my best to be responsive and communicative with all my clients. I review the evidence in all my cases so I don't where you got the impression I did not do so in yours. I am sorry if there was any confusion over the fee and I regret that you came away with anything less than a positive experience.

BEWARE OF RICHARD DELLA FERA Attorney at law
For 7 months leading up to my trial, Richard continually proclaimed " This is a slam dunk, don't worry about anything" Well it was....... until he entered the courtroom. The evidence presented was not only vague but contradicted itself , a "physically trembling" rookie prosecutor, per...
This former client was charged with a first-degree misdemeanor and received a withhold of adjudication and court costs. Unhappy with that outcome and apparently upset that I did not reach out to him after the case was over, he embarked upon a continuing pattern of harassment of me for well over a year through telephone calls, texts and emails. He eventually got to the point where he was demanding a refund of $2,500. He agreed to sign a general release in exchange for the $2,500, something about which I consulted with a Florida bar ethics attorney. When I told the former client I did not want to meet with him in person, he claimed in an email that his feelings were hurt and he now needed $5,000 “in order to begin to heal and move forward.” I refused to be extorted by this man and did not pay him. Moreover, I have the transcript of the trial that shows how I vigorously defended him. He chose to take the stand at testify and was judged to be less than credible.

Either a Liar or EXTREMELY incompetent
So glad to finally hear others that had the same issues I had. I wanted to meet with him prior to the case for strategy, information, etc. He kept telling me he didn't see a need. Two weeks before trial we had a blowout over this on the phone and he suggested I would be happier with another lawyer ...
Dear “Anonymous”: I see you’ve chosen to post a negative review in 2019 even though your case and sentence for defrauding the U.S. Military concluded years ago. As you well know, our disagreements stemmed from the fact that you continually refused to acknowledge the overwhelming evidence against you. You were not convicted on evidence that I did not request; you were convicted on your own admissions of guilt along with the incriminating chat logs you voluntary gave to the investigating government agents before your arrest and long before I was court-appointed to represent you. You must have forgotten that we had hours and hours of telephone conferences and in-person meetings and exchanged dozens of emails. I told the judge to get you a new lawyer because we kept going around and around in circles. Also, the court record clearly proves that I did file a motion to dismiss on statute of limitations grounds in the district court and then appealed the denial to the circuit court. See 790 F.3d 1196 (11th Cir. 2015). Contrary to your assertions, there are no 11th Circuit or Supreme Court precedents that supported dismissal. You also fail to mention that I filed a downward departure motion at sentencing that was granted, thus resulting in significantly less time than that called for under the federal sentencing guidelines. In sum, your account as to what occurred in your case is completely false and I did the very best anyone possibly could have given the facts of the case and the state of the law. Finally, as to your gratuitous insults against me, they only go to prove the old saying that when a man has no real arguments, he resorts to personal attacks.
