Anthony Dacosta Elliot Jr.

Well I hired Mr. Tony Dacosta back in July 2019 regarding my criminal case. I been completely honest through the whole process with Dacosta I informed Dacosta "if you can't handle my case I can find someone else". Which Dacosta decided to proceed on taking my case. I paid Dacosta up front for the dis...covery paperwork and for what he asked for in the beginning. Through out the whole process Dacosta was unprofessional and not communicating with me to the point not even showing up for our first court appearance calendar call which he told me himself that he was going to attend which he didn't and I felt embarrassed and shame. Tony Dacosta lack of communication sucks he doesn't answer his phone to communicate anything with his clients I left numerous voicemails and text messages which it will take him weeks to respond back to your message and most of the time he respond back through a text message not by the phone. So I'm saying he's not reliable his communication sucks he's not aggressive when in court hearings. It was just a waste of time and energy so I will never recommend him to no one else. So Tony Dacosta decided to give my criminal case to another attorney and decided to transfer to a different law firm which as an attorney he didn't fill his obligation. Dacosta didn't informed me even to the point I wasn't given an explanation on why Dacosta transfer my case over to another attorney . Because our last conversation was back in July 2020 regarding us attending court hearing which I never attended a meeting on Zoom and now we in October still haven't heard anything from Dacosta I been trying to reach out to both attorneys regarding my criminal case nothing personal just business which both attorneys decided to block me from calling them which that is very unprofessional especially being a attorney. So I'm just upset and disappointed on how both attorneys handled the situation. It should have been just a simple phone call letting me know what's going on. Especially on Dacosta departure on leaving the law firm and transferring my case to another attorney. That should have been the proper and respectful way to notified me of any changes. In conclusion Tony Dacosta is not trustworthy, honest, and his lack of empathy sucks 100 percent if I had to rate him it will be zero percent across the board. So again Not recommended.
