Too much detail to write. I'll make it short. He was commissioned by wife and I after collecting money following an interview in his office. Obvious he passed his work to another lawyer that did not sit in our interview and that made our legal results weak. 7 weeks for M. Garcia to return our phone ...messages. We left multiple messages with Maria and others each day, week, etc. Billing obviously is fraudulent! He will not, cannot give names, times, dates and minutes spent on phone with opposition. We believe M. Garcia is a dishonest, unprofessional lawyer. He thinks he is better than you and I. He has limited time to respond to a certified letter we sent M. Garcia threating a civil suit. He has not responded and probably will not. Will see ya in court Garcia. Thanks for ripping me off...

After signing the retainer, I had a gut feeling about Mr. Garcia becuase of a comment he made when I question his $7k retainer fee request, Mr. Garcia said to me, "You have to give a lot of money to show that you are serious." I was able to bring the retainer down to 2k but something didn't sit right... about Mr. Garcia’s comment. When I received Mr. Garcia’s billing, I feel Mr. Garcia was dishonest at our initial consultation as he stated he had over 20 years of experience in construction law. However Mr. Garcia billed me 13 hours to research Fl statue 718 and 713 , billed me to reseach filing an appeal and research filing a motion to withdraw. I am also unhappy that Mr. Garcia did not obtain my approval on the decisions he made on my case. There were meetings with 3rd party individuals without my knowledge, and information was shared. Mr. Garcia submitted court paperwork without my consent. When I raised my concerns to Mr. Garcia, he told me, "If you don't like what I'm doing, go get another attorney,"

Even though my case was small, I felt that Mr Garcia payed attention to the details and followed up both with the court and with the counterpart´s lawyer. He gave me around advise that allowed me to make the best decisions at every stage of the process. I felt well advised and represented. We were su...ccessful in our case.
