Biography
Matis has always been passionate about fighting for the rights of the oppressed, and the relentless pursuit of justice is what moved him to become an attorney over 18 years ago. Despite the success of building a multi-million dollar plaintiff catastrophic injury law firm, Matis was still looking for a bigger, more universal truth, and after some soul searching decided to take a hiatus from the practice of law, and began traveling across the world longing to quench the thirst of his soul. He eventually wound up in Israel where he reconnected with his Jewish roots. In 2009 Matis returned to Florida and teamed up with Matthew Bavaro to start Loan Lawyers and focus on helping and fighting for the rights of South Florida homeowners and consumers. Loan Lawyers has helped over 5,000 South Florida consumers with their debt problems, saved over 1,000 homes from foreclosure, eliminated over $80 in consumer and mortgage debt, and recovered millions of dollars on behalf of our clients due to negligence and fraud.

Worry free help
After my wife and I both lost our jobs in the same month in 2009, our then family of 7 was in danger of loosing our house. Matisyahu and his team kept us in our home, worry free until we were able to do a home loan modification. They handled the modification too and now that's all ancient history.
