Howard Scott Hecker

I was driving with my friend and we got pulled over. The police said they smelled marijuana then asked my friend consent to a search. He didn't consent but they searched anyway. Apparently my friend had 25 grams of pot in the car and we both got charged with possession and trafficking. Mr. Hecker was... able to prove that I had nothing to do with the drugs and all of the charges against me got dropped. Mr. Hecker is a great attorney andI would recommend him to anyone that needs legal help!

I was recommended to Mr Hecker from a cousin of mine. I was stopped in Pembroke Pines at 3 in the morning for dark tint. They illegally searched my car . They said I gave consent and I didn't . Mr Hecker's investigator found a witness who saw and heard the whole thing from her porch, and she testifie...d that the police were lying about me giving consent and the judge threw the case out. My lawyer before Mr Hecker wanted me to plead to probation and wouldn't do it so I fired him and hired Mr Hecker. That was the best thing I could have done !

I hired Scott Hecker when my now ex filed bogus domestic violence charges against me. My visitation with my daughter was suspended and I was arrested. Mr Hecker got her admit in deposition that she lied to the Police. The State still wanted to go to trial, so we did, AND WON Due to his Knowledge o...f the law, the Judge dismissed the case before the Jury got it. THAT WAS GREAT

He is very knowledgeable and you will see him moving around in court talking to the state attorney... I wished he was more aggressive and not eager for more continuance. When you have a supposed victim say in court "I dont want restitution because I feel he didn't steal from me" admitting infront of ...the state attorney and the judge, why wouldn't you ask for a continuation? just put the motion to terminate the probation... But that's the case of the majority of lawyers today! They will only be aggressive depending on how much you spend on them.
