Attorney Lerner

I hired Brian as an attorney and not only did he have my best interest in mind at all times, he is very clear on his ways of working and if he will take your case or not. He will absolutely stand up for his clients and fight for what you deserve while making sure you understand everything every step ...of the way. Highly recommended!

Ineffective, self-serving

I hired this guy as he was recommended to me by a business associate that is also a lawyer. I looked him up and there are a bunch of glorified summaries of his work online, not many reviews though. I made the mistake to hire him. He showed minimal interest in my case, he did charge me though and once... we filed an EEOC complaint, he dumped me as a client and never provided me with a coherent explanation. I guess he thought he could not make enough money off me? Who knows. While he definitely has expert understanding of his field, his ethics are questionable. Why would you take on a case, file and them dump a client? He did provide me with a list of alternative lawyers I could contact. I did contact those lawyers and they were useless, some dealt with insurance claims, accidents etc, the kind of people you see on tv and cringe, they had no employment law experience.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
