I can't recommend Evan Shane enough, the bottom line is that he is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the immigration field and gets results. On the recommendation of a close family member, my son, a U.S. Citizen, employed the services of Mr. Evan Shane to file for an adjustment of my immigration status. From day one Mr. Shane showed respect for our time by attending to us promptly on our appointments, and was very professional yet ...personable. He was very thorough in explaining the application process to us, and in collecting needed information and documents. My daughter signed as co-sponsor and the income was more than sufficient to qualify for approval. However, Mr. Shane advised that if my son-in-law co-signed also, he being in the same household as my daughter, I would quite likely get through more quickly. This was done and the Application sent off promptly to USCIS. Soon after, I received USCIS' Notice of Action dated 12/24/2012 in the mail, and things just continued to speed up. On 01/24/2013 my Biometrics were taken; on or about 02/18/2013 I got my Work Permit for one year. Then on 10/02/2013, WITHOUT BEING CALLED FOR AN INTERVIEW, I received my Permanent Residence ('Green') Card in the mail!! Everything successfully completed in less than one year. I no longer have to be looking over my shoulder in fear of deportation. Such a stark contrast to the result, or absence of result, from an attorney whom my mom, a U.S. Citizen, hired when she filed for me in 12/2002. Not even a Work Permit to show. I found Shane Law through a friend who recommended Michael Shane as a trusted longtime family friend and mentor. Through Michael, I met Evan who was entrusted with our case. Evan did everything he said he will do, in a timely manner, professionally, kind, and always upbeat. I never had the pleasur...e of meeting the Shanes face to face as we lived very far from each other yet I always felt we could trust them and rely on them.
