I found Shane Law through a friend who recommended Michael Shane as a trusted longtime family friend and mentor. Through Michael, I met Evan who was entrusted with our case. Evan did everything he said he will do, in a timely manner, professionally, kind, and always upbeat. I never had the pleasur...e of meeting the Shanes face to face as we lived very far from each other yet I always felt we could trust them and rely on them. My wife and I met over half a dozen attorneys across multiple states over a period of eight years who although kind and interested said our case was too difficult or the options limited. I never heard a negative or doubtful thought come from Evan. Although he was professionally measured in his optimism, we never felt that we did not have a chance to accomplish our daughter's transition as a foreign born teenager to a teenager with the U.S. residency benefits and eventual citizenship as her adoptive parents. We worried about having the money to do this yet never felt that Evan will ask for more money later. We asked and were given a clear cost from the beginning and that never changed. The forms, the fees, the procedures, the time, and all other details were always known to us. Short of making a promise, Evan was diligent, thoughtful, kind, optimistic, confident, and compassionate. I told Evan, when we received the good news that our daughter was now a U.S. resident, to expect for us to stay in touch for a long time as we were eternally grateful, but also because our daughter could not find anyone else we will trust with her immigration matters. As I write this review, I am overwhelmed with emotion as we were blessed the day we meet the Shanes. For us as a family, it has been a blessing and a miracle to have accomplished such a difficult transition. The previous eight years and previous lawyers taught us that Evan was the person that could truly help us. Immigration is always stressful, and for us as a family, times where dark, but never because our attorney, Evan Shane, was the cause. I can say that, we never felt anything else other than confidence, honesty, care, and warmth from our attorney Evan Shane. I wish I could tell you more about our case, but privacy limits me. It was not a simple status adjustment. It involved multiple attorneys across multiple specialties. In closing, in immigration matters there are many unknowns, but Evan Shane is the attorney that can help you when nobody else can. Why? Because of his expertise, humanity, and passion for his clients and their quest for the promise of the American Dream.
