I worked primarily with Samuel Awad regarding my FCRA claims involving inaccurate credit reporting following a vehicle total loss. My primary concern was communication and accountability. Throughout the representation, I had asked simple questions at times regarding case status, litigation strateg...y, which parties were being pursued, timelines, and claim handling. Many of those questions required multiple follow-ups on my end before receiving answers. When I raised concerns regarding communication issues with firm staff, those concerns were often defended or explained rather than addressed. Requests for escalation frequently resulted in being directed back into the same communication channels that had already proven ineffective. I also sought assistance regarding a separate matter where I was directed by Mr. Awad to another firm representative. After spending approximately six weeks attempting to obtain guidance regarding that issue, I ultimately learned the firm would not be pursuing the matter. My concern was not simply that the matter was declined, but that I spent weeks seeking answers with unclear communication before receiving a clear response. While Mr. Awad ultimately obtained a resolution in the one out of four issues, I was left frustrated by the lack of direct communication, difficulty obtaining information, and the firm’s handling of client concerns and settlement funds throughout the representation.
