Very disappointed in his legal representation

I am an 85 year old man in poor heath. I hired Mr. Hoffman back in February of this year to file a petition to open a probate case. From that moment on he has been a struggle to get him to work on my case. He has never called me. My daughter has tried to get him moving on the case. She told him... what we wanted 2 months ago and still to this day he has refused to work on my case. It has been so frustrating for my family to work with him. He never returns our calls. Any letters we write to him are ignored. It seems he is waiting for us to fire him. He has prejudiced my case. My next step will be a bar complaint against him for not adequately representing me in probate court.
