Sheila Zolnoor

I knew from the very first time i spoke with her that we were in good hands. I knew we had to hire her. My friend hired her for her son years ago and now my son needed somebody. I had another lawyer at first. My son was charged with attempted murder but he was only defending himself. Because they did...n’t give him a bond, the other lawyer had to have a special kind of bond hearing for cases like this where the law doesn;t give a bond. the judge denied it. I did not feel like he was doing a good job for us at all— I did not feel like he represented what he should have. He did not even give the judge any law or anything to support a bond. He just said oh give him a bond he has his family here, blablabla. And the motion he filed was one page long. We hired sheila and my son is right now sitting at home with me. She filed this very long motion, like 20 pages, she found witnesses, she brought evidence of other bad things the other guy had done before that shows he was probably the bad guy here too and my son was only protecting himself. She told the judge about cases that was exactly like our case that was made basically to persuade him to change his mind from the last time we asked for bond. The state didn’t even say anything new. They kept saying the same thing they said the last time. but now there was new evidence and testimony and cases, but they still said nothing new. They looked surprised, like oh im not prepared, OOPS! Thats the other thing about sheila—she was so cool calm collected but she was so prepared!!! I was proud to have her there for my son and i thank god for her.

Sheila is a lifesaver, I can't say enough good things. the minute I met with her I knew I was in good hands. she has this very easy way about her. she's confident and competent and humble at the same time. she was recommended to me by a friend who she represented on some crazy stuff--he had 4 cases o...pen, was scoring prison mandatory, had 2 violations of probation, and she somehow walked him out of court with no jail no prison nothing. I came to her when my case was already 2 years old and my other lawyer had done nothing. He said I had to take prison or go to trial and I didn't want to do either. Sheila came in, spent hours talking to me and my girl, talked to some people I know, and then she went to the state. I don't know what she did, or how she did it, but after 2 years of only PRISON OR TRIAL, suddenly I'm offered a withhold and 18 months probation? I don't know, she's magic. I scored 56 months. every day I get to spend with my kids I thank god for sheila.

I don't know if anybody else reads these things, but i do, and if anybody is wondering, this woman is an angel. i have never been so low in my life, was locked up for something i didn't do, and was being forced into a plea i didn't deserve. i interviewed a couple other lawyers before i met sheila. ...she made me feel comfortable immediately. she has an easy air about her that puts you at ease and makes you feel safe. i trusted her. something about her just made me feel like she cared about my case as much as i did. sometimes it seemed like she cared more than i did. the word I'm looking for is empathetic. she works her tail off to make sure she gets the best outcome. it's pretty obvious that its personal for her. other lawyers made me feel like i was just another client and i disnt have a shot.. sheila made me feel like she was working as hard for me as she would for her own brother. i had originally signed up with the PD. i was in jail for almost a year waiting for something to happen with my case. nothing was happening. my family finally got the money together to bond me out and thats when i started trying to hire a private lawyer. i was charged with a burglary of an occupied dwelling with a battery. this charge is punishable by life. the state wanted 15 years from me. i have never been arrested before in my life and my PD told me to take the offer. when i told sheila about this i almost thought she was going to jump out of her chair. i don't know how she did what she did, but after a year with the PD, in 3 months, sheila got the charges dropped. i still haven't finished paying her and she has never given me a hard time about it. i know she made my case a priority and she made magic happen. i feel bad that i still need to pay her, but i wanted to at least let everyone reading this know what she did for me and my family and my 2 sons. my life would be over if i didn't meet her. no joke. she has a hard of gold. she is truly special.

My son was arrested for 2 felonies while he was on probation. He was facing serious time and it seemed like the world was against us. We hired a different lawyer at first. He wouldn't take our calls or answer any of our questions. All he wanted was our money. That's how it felt. A friend suggested Ms.... Zolnoor since she had handled her husband's case. Let me tell you, she looks young but she knows what she's doing. And she treated us like human beings. And my son is home with us now, getting the help he needs.
