Randy R. Freedman, Esq. is an “AV” rated attorney whose practice centers on commercial and civil litigation, business transactions, arbitration and mediation. He started practicing law in 1980 and has developed an extensive background in complex business litigation, securities arbitration, construction cases, real estate disputes, employment litigation, commercial insurance coverage claims and business torts.

The negotiation and preparation of contracts and agreements is a core element of Randy Freedman’s practice. Typical matters include the sale of businesses, employment and non-compete agreements and shareholder agreements. His experience includes drafting the employment contract of the President and COO of a nationally known pharmaceutical company and negotiating the employment agreements of some of South Florida’s premier stock brokers for several of the largest firms in the country.

For more than twenty-five years, Randy Freedman has served as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and has been selected as the chairperson of over one hundred arbitration panels. He has also represented numerous claimants and respondents in arbitration cases before FINRA on securities matters and before the American Arbitration Association on commercial disputes.

Randy Freedman is a Florida Supreme Court certified mediator and is associated with one of South Florida’s most successful mediation services. In his capacity as a mediator, Randy Freedman has participated in a wide variety of civil disputes. He has also been involved in numerous mediations as an advocate for his clients in his litigation cases as it is virtually a prerequisite before a case is permitted to go to trial.
