Unresponsive and Lazy

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience. I retained Michelle to represent me in multiple complex litigation matters, and unfortunately my experience was deeply disappointing. Throughout the representation, I encountered repeated delays, missed commitments, and ...significant communication issues. I was frequently assured that important filings and litigation tasks would be completed, only to have those commitments repeatedly postponed or left unfinished. The most frustrating aspect was the lack of follow-through. I often found myself having to repeatedly ask about work that had already been discussed and agreed upon. Instead of feeling that my cases were moving forward, I felt that I was constantly chasing updates while critical matters remained unresolved. Although I understood and sympathized with the personal challenges Michelle shared with me, those challenges ultimately had a significant impact on my confidence in the representation I received. As a client involved in serious litigation, I needed consistency, diligence, and timely action. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Professional communication, preparation, and reliability are essential when someone’s legal rights are at stake. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Michelle and would encourage anyone considering retaining her to carefully discuss expectations regarding communication, case management, and timeliness before making a decision. She is moving out of state and seems to just want to work remotely.

Worse communication I’ve experienced with a lawyer

I cannot recommend Michelle Cohen Levy based on my experience as her client. Unfortunately, the communication problems started before I was even officially represented. Simply obtaining the retainer agreement required repeated follow-ups over the course of weeks. Looking back, that should have been m...y first indication of what was to come. Throughout my case, it was often extremely difficult to reach her. Emails and phone calls frequently went unanswered or required multiple follow-ups before I received a response. When your legal rights and court deadlines are at stake, that level of inaccessibility creates unnecessary stress and uncertainty. What frustrated me most was the recurring pattern. Communication would become nearly nonexistent, important deadlines would approach, and I would be left wondering whether critical work was actually being done. As my frustration reached its peak, I would receive reassurance that everything was nearly finished or would be filed shortly, which temporarily restored my confidence. Unfortunately, that cycle repeated itself over and over. It constantly felt as though work was being pushed to the last possible moment instead of being handled with the preparation and urgency a client’s case deserves. One of the most concerning experiences involved a significant amendment to my Answer. It was prepared and filed on the very last day of the court’s deadline without any meaningful consultation with me. I was not given the opportunity to review the filing, discuss the changes being made, or provide my input before it was submitted on my behalf. As the client whose legal rights were directly affected, I found it deeply troubling that such an important filing was finalized without my knowledge or participation. By the end of the representation, I had lost confidence that I was being kept informed or meaningfully involved in my own case. Effective legal representation requires more than filing documents before deadlines. It also requires communication, preparation, transparency, and collaboration with the client. Based on my experience, those were the areas where the representation fell short. This review reflects only my personal experience as a client. Others may have had a different experience, but based on mine, I cannot recommend Michelle Cohen Levy. If communication, transparency, and meaningful client involvement are important to you, I encourage you to carefully consider whether your expectations will be met.

Hate and violence supporter

This attorney employs a paralegal who rejoices with cold murder. When notified they just deleted and blocked me. Makes xou bekieve they share the same violent hateful views Every client has the right to know what type of people would work on their case. If you do not support murder of those whose op...inions you do not agree with, I'd search for a different attorney. Who is to say your case will be fairly defended if they do not agree with your morals and/or political views. Now, if you support violence, these are your people.

Took The Time To Explain Case

I was of the opinion my roommate who was discriminated and abused by employees/owner of the Floridian Restaurant had a case. She explained that because Florida is a Right ToWork state there was no case. You could feel her frustration that the laws do not protect employees from abuse.
