Biography
With a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years, John Poland is a highly respected attorney and entertainment executive. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Performing Arts Administration from Rhode Island College in 1989 and subsequently advanced into venue management roles throughout the eastern U.S. As a regional Vice President for Broadway Across America, John led negotiations with key industry unions and produced, managed, and promoted over 100 annual engagements for notable productions. His vast professional network extends across all sectors of entertainment, and he remains deeply connected to leaders and decision-makers industrywide. In addition to his legal practice, John serves as Director of Business Affairs for Right Angle Entertainment, overseeing major tours and partnerships with prominent organizations including FOX TV, Disney, Sony, Hasbro and Fremantle. John holds a J.D. from Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University, is a member of The Florida Bar and its Entertainment, Arts, & Sports Law section, and is fluent in Spanish. He is also a proud member of Mensa.
