Biography
David Di Pietro is an AV Preeminent® rated trial attorney and the founder of Di Pietro Partners, PLLC, a Florida litigation and healthcare law firm based in Fort Lauderdale. With more than 20 years of litigation experience, David represents clients in complex probate and trust litigation, healthcare law matters, medical malpractice cases, healthcare whistleblower and False Claims Act litigation, and business disputes.
David’s probate and trust litigation practice includes contested wills, inheritance disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, trust disputes, estate litigation, and other contested probate matters. His healthcare practice includes litigation, professional licensing, regulatory matters, and other legal issues involving physicians, medical practices, and healthcare organizations. He also represents whistleblowers in False Claims Act and qui tam matters involving suspected fraud against government healthcare programs.
David began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, where he gained substantial courtroom and trial experience handling serious criminal matters. He later entered private practice representing individuals and businesses in state and federal litigation involving contracts, fraud, fiduciary claims, shareholder disputes, injunctions, and other complex civil matters.
David has also served in leadership roles with Broward Health and is regularly called upon by national and regional media outlets to provide legal analysis on significant trials and legal developments. He represents clients throughout Florida and handles select healthcare whistleblower matters nationwide.
