Ms. McFann represented me on two occasions in the past year. First, she advised me on handling a delicate situation regarding an initial deposit from a prospective tenant who backed out of the lease; luckily, the situation was resolved via negotiation without need to go to trial. This was due largely... to Ms. McFann's sage advice about the legal process and about the practicalities of retaining a small deposit from a very powerful adversary. Second, she represented me as the defendant in a difficult small claims lawsuit filed by an (in my humble opinion) unstable, unpredictable, and emotional plaintiff. This involved a tenant who vacated an apartment, owned by me, with damages of approximately $2,000. She contested my damage claim, which went to court. Ms. McFann advised me about the legal issues before I even claimed the $2,000 in damages; she continued to advise me while the former tenant and I haggled over the damages; and she represented me when unsuccessful negotation led to the court case by the tenant/plaintiff. In the court-required mediation, Ms. McFann represented me and advised me to settle for an amount that was fully acceptable to me. In short, I was in good hands during the whole process - in both cases - and felt great confidence in my position because of Ms. McFann's professionalism.

I worked with Kim on a couple cases. She handled both of them with incredibly efficiency. Most importantly, she understood the big picture and convinced me to make the right decisions for long-term success, as opposed to knee-jerk reactions that I am prone to make.
