I had a consult with Mr Harris to talk about hiring him to help with my divorce. I explained that there was no money to fight about or anything. My husband had spent it all and we were in debt. I just wanted to divorce and my main concern was my son. He said he could still do things like see where th...e money was spent, that my soon to be ex could still be responsible for allot. He said that he would make sure child support was started right away since I hadn't been receiving anything. I paid him a retainer and that was it. After that, I could not get him to answer a phone call or an email. I had no idea what to do. My husband and his lawyer and I wanted it to be over with. Mr. Harris did nothing for months! I finally had to go obtain another lawyer and all was complete within less than 60 days. The whole divorce was bad enough but having Mr Harris do nothing after promising so much during our consult was disheartening. I even emailed him after all was said and done and expressed how unhappy I was and he offered to refund me my retainer. I was shocked but grateful.....though he never did
