I was in need of a Family Law attorney for enforcement of a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO). I researched attorneys and was very impressed with the credentials and awards of Carin Porras, Esq. at Brydger & Porras, LLC. I contacted the firm and set up a consultation. She was very knowledgeable and she and her staff were very friendly and welcoming from the beginning. With her agreement I retained her at the consultation.
Throughout our legal association Ms. Porras proved to be not only extremely knowledgeable, but competent, kind, and professional. She always exceeded my expectations as did her exemplary staff who were also very supportive, kind, and professional. Forms and communications were punctual with attention to detail, questions from my phone calls and e-mails were responded to promptly, kindness and support were always given, and I was kept up-to-date on progress.
In a matter of weeks Ms. Porras had resolved my issue. I am much more than pleased with the excellent service I was given by Ms. Porras and her staff and recommend Carin Porras and Brydger & Porras, LLC highly and without hesitation. She is excellent.

It’s with pleasure that I write about my circumstances and experience with Carin Porras, Brydger & Porras, LLP.
As I was enduring a divorce, which I neither initiated nor wanted, I interviewed several attorneys. I was looking for someone who possessed the expertise I needed – sharp, knowledgeable, and who would have my best interests in mind. In my first appointment with Carin, I knew she was to be my divorce attorney; both her kindness and her expertise astounded me.
The course of my life was changing, against my will. I brought to the table denial, fear of the process and my future, and a tangled mess of emotions. Carin and her staff helped me transform that mess and gently understand the reality of the situation. They clarified the process of divorce proceedings, which greatly alleviated my fear. Carin and her excellent team moved me from feeling completely powerless to the beginnings of feeling strong and autonomous, allowing me to adjust to the practical aspects of the next chapter of my life.
This team was always available to me. Her staff couldn’t have been more kind and caring. I was encouraged to call with questions, concerns, or the need for clarity. Every time I called I was supported and given a clear answer, and always encouraged. I felt respected by Carin and her team -- allowing me to develop from looking backwards with grief to a stronger woman who could look forward. In my opinion Carin managed my divorce exactly right. I gave her my trust and she took care of me every step of the way.
Carin is an authority in family law and expertly maneuvered the entire and complicated process of my divorce. She gathered the information she needed and moved forward in a clean and professional manner. She was highly prepared, leaving nothing to chance. Carin knows when to approach the opposing attorney in a non-threatening manner, and when to apply pressure – all to achieve the best outcome for me. Carin is a powerful, expert attorney who is highly respected by fellow attorneys. Having seen this in my case, opposing attorneys are highly intimidated by her expertise.
Without reservation, I highly recommend Brydger & Porras, LLP to anyone experiencing a divorce.

After an extremely enlightening and beneficial initial consultation with Attorney Carrin Porras, the firm was retained to modify existing Alimony and Qualified Domestic Relation Order Agreements. Ms. Porras has a style that helped me quickly feel comfortable with and confident in her ability to meet my legal needs. Throughout the entire process leading to the Agreements being filed with the courts, both Ms. Porras and her able assistant, Henri Allen, consistently exceeded my expectations. I was impressed with how courteous, cooperative, responsive and professional they were. Most importantly, after some great coaching and guidance from Ms. Porras—both tough and gentle as needed—the bottom line successful results were achieved.
