Juan Jose Mendez Babani

Juan J. Mendez, Esq., was born in Mexico and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Political Science and International Relations from the Florida International University in 2011, after making Dean’s List several times throughout his tenure there. In 2014, Juan received his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law and has been licensed to practice in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida since 2015.

While at Florida Coastal, Juan worked with the Consumer Law Clinic, was the President of the Jewish Law Student’s Association, a Legislator for the Student Bar Association and was accepted into the Mock Trial Team.

Juan is a skilled traffic & criminal defense attorney, attending hearings, mediations, arraignments/pre-trial conferences and trials for matters, including but not limited to, traffic violations, red-light camera citations, non-moving violations, commercial driver’s license issues (CDL), driving with a suspended license and reckless/careless driving. He also represents clients in Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Cases.

In addition to his traffic & criminal background, Juan also handles all types of civil disputes and business transactions.

In addition to The Florida Bar, Juan is a member United States District Court Southern District of Florida, The American Bar Association, The Miami-Dade County Bar Association, the Business, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Florida Bar, The Young Lawyers Florida Bar Association.
