I have been active in the federal criminal court arena for over 40 years

Although I began working in the criminal law field in 1975 as a state prosecutor in Colorado, beginning in 1976, I went to work for the FBI as a special agent attorney handling numerous Federal investigations and prosecutions fo 25 years. Since my retirement in 2001 I have zealously defended individuals and companies accused of a variety of crimes including but not limited to Medicare fraud, fraud by wire and bank fraud, drug trafficking, child pornography, mail fraud, Interstate transportation of stolen property, corruption, conspiracy, money laundering, civil rights violations and lying to federal agents. I was even involved in terrorism related cases as well as espionage matters in my career with the FBI.

I am very familiar with investigator and prosecutor tactics in federal cases and aggressively defend all federal crime accusations against individuals. When accused of a federal crime, individuals generally face numerous charges in addition to the predicate crime.  It is essential for anyone accused of a federal crime to obtain counsel immediately before giving any statements which will no doubt be used against them later. I always provide a free initial interview for all my clients before retaining a case.

I am generally available to travel throughout the United States and also contact clients on occasion from Latin America and the Caribbean who are facing federal charges in the United States.
