Javier Markowicz

Mr.Markowicz, Managing Director of Markowicz International Law,  is a licensed attorney in the State ofFlorida with vast practical experience in international law as well as internationalbusiness transactions, international project management, internationalcorporate finance, and international business consulting.

 Afterliving, working and studying throughout Latin America, California, Florida,Hong Kong and Mainland China, Mr. Markowicz developed a unique fusion ofcultural sensitivity, global business acumen and practical legal skills, whichhe brings to bear in the representation of all of his clients. He is deeplycommitted to combining a global business vision with local legal execution toassist companies achieve their business goals in their international businessprojects.   

  Priorto establishing Markowicz International Law, Mr. Markowicz’s worked in severalinternational law firms where he gained significant experience in internationalcorporate transactions as well as litigation. He has advised companies from allover the world on U.S. import and export matters, and has assisted thesecompanies overcome local, federal and regulatory hurdles to meet the requiredcompliance standards.  He has also providedlegal advisory and business services to U.S. companies on their business andinvestment ventures and business expansion plans, throughout Latin America andChina, in projects ranging from assembly of plant facilities and franchising executionsto international mergers and acquisitions.

 Inaddition to his legal experience, Mr. Markowicz worked as a business, financeand project manager in Hong Kong, and Mainland China for over 2 years.  He was the chief officer of a trading company thattraded raw material and commodities from Latin America to China, where he wasresponsible for the synchronization of dozens of companies located in tencountries throughout the Americas and dozens of cities throughout MainlandChina.   In this capacity, Mr. Markowicz alsoconducted project valuations and financial analysis, and managed both the logisticsof hundreds of containers and the administration of assembly and distributioncenters. 

  These legaland business experiences provided Mr. Markowicz the opportunity to build a networkof of-counsel professionals throughout the main centers in Asia and LatinAmerica, who share the same passion for providing the highest level ofprofessionalism to serve and connect the global business community.

        Mr. Markowicz isadmitted to practice law in the State of Florida and the Court of InternationalTrade.

  Mr. Markowicz received his Juris Doctor from St. ThomasUniversity School of Law in Miami, Florida, and his Bachelor of Arts degree inPolitical Science from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles,California.  He is fluent in English,Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew.
