Barry Scott Franklin

I've know Barry over the years through a common interest, as he was my client. I did not know he was a lawyer, much less a family lawyer. Once I learned this, I approached him with my case ,ex wife emptied bank account and my dogs were also jeopardize. At his law firm, where other family members... of him also practice, I felt welcomed and every question I had (sound or not) was answered, whether by him or another staff member who were no less than amazing, along the duration of the case. The outcome that he foresaw, was exactly what happened. * That his business partner, Ms.Retenauer, had all the right tools for the case. *That my dogs would be kept safe and not even be brought up *My rightful portion of the monies taken would be recovered and some attorney fees would be too. So far I am just in the beginning stages of my case so I won't go into detail . I will say Barry and his entire TEAM (including his 100 lbs sweet dog) are worth having on MY side . I have hired attorneys in the past so I do have teams to compare them to . What I want in a legal team I believe I trul...y get . They are prompt, attentive to detail , to the point, and above all else they are HUMAN . I will admit I even had a panic attack in their office -just the nature of my case- and they transformed from Attorneys to Friends instantly . Overall on the legal end , Barry and his team have been ahead of the game , anticipating all the shots, and most of all they don't buckle to threats from the opposing council . I have been a court reporter for 45 years both in the federal system for the Eastern District of New York (Brooklyn, New York) and at the state, civil and criminal levels in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties, in Florida. Barry is the best attorney around. He and his office reflect his character, they are kind, caring and always professional. I have to thank Barry for for all that he has done for me and my son. He worked tirelessly on my case and was always so pleasant and fun to work with even in my messy battle. I came here because I'm a big believer in the power of reviews. I am disappointed to see them used for personal vendettas. How can someone effectively represent you if they don't know your values, beliefs, etc? It was crucial that we find someone who is as passionate as we are about family, Barry's that guy. Our case went on for a year, during which, he was the utmost professional, but always with compassion. He is a man of integrity and demands it of others. He is an expert in his field. He is surely NOT a pushover, and won't be bullied...isnt that the guy you want on your side? It is evident that he is highly respected by the court. I trusted his advice , but there were times when I asked for his reasoning...he was patient in explaining the 'why'. He listens, even during the emotional times. We were always provided with a detailed financial report that was more than fair for his experience and expertise. They were honest about charges, and sensitive to our financial situation. Throughout the year, he consistently tried to resolve issues without frivolous motions and court appearances that drives up the cost...too bad the other side wasn't as ethical. ONLY with Barry's guidance and caring , were we able to stay the course and get what we needed ...what was RIGHT for the children.
