Misleading

The errors his firm made in my case were astounding. I didn't realize that he had a bar action taken against him until I reviewed his profile on here again. He has all these good reviews... pft. I'll start at the beginning but there is more but not enough space on here. First he can't get a simple ad...dress correct. That happened over and over again. He mailed the wrong contract. He told me one strategy and followed a completely different one. He does NOT communicate with his associate staff attorney very well... maybe not all. He failed to get a copy of my case file. He soaked me for money for months delaying the trial when I told him not to. Finally, he promised "all this research" for trial that didn't happen. I still don't know what happened to the discovery request. They didn't answer back to me about that. In fact, if they don't want to answer, they ignore you. If they want something from you, you had better take off from work and go attend to that request asap. They failed to schedule dispositions. They didn't allow enough time to prepare. He MISSED THE TRIAL! And had to beg the judge to appear telephonically. I don't know who was my lawyer was really....him or his staff lawyer. I'll write a review on her next. He might be getting another bar complaint. However, I encourage people who read reviews to be responsible for their own choices. I don't recommend him. Have a nice day.

Relationship: Worked for lawyer

"I endorse this lawyer. He is extremely knowledgeable and always looking out for everyones best interest. He is the best foreclosure attorney I have ever met. His background as a Senator and working for a bank make his skills surpass those of any other attorney attempting to save people's homes. He truly cares about his clients and will take the time to understand your case and give you all your options. It is truly a pleasure to work alongside this attorney and I whole heartedly recommend him."

Public Reprimand issued in FL, 2016

updated on 05/01/2018

Public reprimand means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar warns the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior. Details of the infraction are made part of the public record.

Daryl’s comment:

“While attempting to settle a dispute between my client and her private lender, I put in writing the offer from the lender to my client. The letter contained a typographical error which stated if my client did not accept the offer, "We" would file foreclosure against her. It should have said "He" would file foreclosure against her. My client took this letter to the Florida Bar and I was reprimanded for appearing to threaten legal action against my client. I would never do this intentionally.”
