In 1990, Mr. Jacobi was offered his own label. By 1991, Pyramid Records/Sony was a reality. The first signing by Jacobi as label head was Eagles guitarist and vocalist Joe Walsh. In 2003, Mr. Jacobi co-founded The Tube Music Network, a music channel featuring heritage rock artists and brought in an MTV alumnus to run the network. When is comes to entertainment law, it sucks to be the person sitting on the other side of the negotiation table. Allen not only knows his stuff, but he has the experience, track record, contacts and client pool to back it up. Every deal I consider goes through his office.
As sharp as record industry, marketing geniuses go Shawn is in there!
"I highly endorse Allen. It is very difficult to find a caring and highly qualified attorney who will take it on himself to get a job done for the client, beyond what is expected. Allen Jacoby is such a find. He is diligent, caring, strong and reasonable. We worked together on matters relating to Copyright infringement and his knowledge of the law and his handling of the case was superb. I strongly recommend him."
"I endorse this lawyer.Allen is simply a terrific Entertainment attorney. If you want to deal to close then retain Allen"
"I worked for Allen after I left the radio business and became a lawyer again. I had a lot to learn in the legal field and he was the guy I needed. I am still calling him with questions after all these years and probably will be for years to come. He's a student of the entertainment industry and a tireless learner, teacher and advocate."
