I adjusted my immigration status via marriage. The process was extremely stressful and long. Having an attorney to guide you through the process is comforting, ensures the process is being done correctly, and is a great resource for any questions. Yolanda accompanied us to the interview and ensure...d that the interview was conducted appropriately. On the day of the interview, she showed up early and checked my wife and I in. During the wait, she reviewed everything to ensure the interview would go well. The wait on the day of the interview is long so we chatted for quite some time. It helps to have a friendly and approachable attorney with you to keep you at ease. We also met prior to the interview. During this meeting, Yolanda made sure we had all of our documents organized. We also went through some questions that may come up during the interview. Most were basic marriage and cohabitation questions (e.g. what is the color of your doorknob) but you don't really think about these day to day so this mock interview helps you really review the details which may be questioned during the real interview.
