Richard Morton Gregg

Hands down one of the best attorneys I have ever hired or come across. He genuinely seems to care about each and every one of his clients. Throughout this whole criminal case he has kept me informed about everything going on with my husband’s case. He goes over every possible strategy with us befor...e making the final decisions on how to proceed with the case. I am writing this review because of the unfavorable ones I have seen; the reviews seem to contradict the lawyer that he really is. I am also a single parent for the time being with my husband fighting his case. Mr. Gregg has been nothing but supportive throughout this process; even when it came to working with us on our Attorney fees. Mr. Gregg is actually the second Attorney I had to hire on my husband case. The first well known high priced Attorney we hired was lazy, money hungry and had no regard for our situation. We paid him thousands of dollars and he had done nothing on my husband’s case; except every time we call ask for more money and I mean literally every time we called even after we had already paid the price he agreed on. A year later he still had done nothing filing only a single motion for a continuance. Until this day the previous lawyer had done nothing except take our entire savings. Then someone recommended Mr. Gregg to me as being very trust worthy. I applaud him for the work he has done on our case, he literally had to start from scratch since the previous lawyer had absolutely done nothing. Since Mr. Gregg has been on our case we had many successes in the court room. So would I recommend him as an Attorney? Absolutely, especially if you want someone that is going to fight for you until the bitter end and not see you as a $.

I hired this attorney november of 2008 and he spoke so highly of himself. I explained to him I was a single mother but that I was very serious about my case. I had little money saved up but was willing to pay him in full to make sure that he di what needed to be done. I did pay him in full. My son's... father had already went through one lawyer prior to him and recieved insufficient counsel .He not only never returns phones calles but he lies about all of the court procedures. He ignores the severity of the cases. He gets upset when it is brought to his attention that he is not doing his job correctly. I recieved several opinions from other attorneys and they agree that I should recieve some money back and no longer allow him to handle my case. I had to call each person myself to find out any information. I spoke with administration, cicuit clerks, and state's attorneys. I had to call BSO & transport units just to find out that that paper work he was supposed to have filled out and gave them was never completed or sent in as he had told me. My son's father has been sitting in jail the whole time while his freedom is left in this man's hands. He does nothing. He cares zero. And his excuse is "It's the state" he blames them for everything. Do not attempt to waste time with this man. He will make it sound so wonderful but oly to find out it was all a scam.
