Barry Marc Boren

My company was represented by Barry Boren for many years. Boren took wrongful and adverse actions against my company's business interests by placing himself in many conflicts between his past representation of my company and another company that he represents. More specifically, Boren actually began ...to advise another client (including a third party) against my interests to my companies detriment. I just recently discovered this information from this third party. It was also discovered that Boren was making derogatory remarks about me personally and making false claims ablout my Intelectual Property rights with the intent to further advance his other client's interests. It is also important to note that this client of Boren is a direct competitor of my company. When I confronted Boren he attempted to deny what he stated while I was sitting right in front of this third party while on the phone with Boren. This third party is prepared to provide an Affidavit in support of the aforementioned allegations and the personal attacks on me. Boren was actually making misleading and negative comments against a former client (my company and me) which is highly improper under any circumstance. In yet another circumstance, Boren represented my company and another company (2009) during the same time period and unfortunately, litigtion ensued over a breach of contract. Instead of taking the high road and recusing himself, he chose to advise the other client again to my detriment. The case was litigated for eight years. It is worth noting that my company prevailed and have recently procuring a Multimillion Dollar Judgement with attorney's fees in my companies favor - so justice was served dispite Boren going adverse to me. In addition to this behavior, I would add that I tolorated years of over billing. For example, Boren would call me on the phone seeking propriatery industry information only to share with other clients. If that's not enough, he actually billed me for receiving information from me for his or his clients interests. I would highly recommend against hiring this lawyer.Client beware.
