My wife and I hired this lawyer after being involved in a serious car accident that resulted in hospitalization. During my recovery, I lost my job and was unable to walk for nearly two months, placing significant financial strain on our household as we relied on our limited savings to stay afloat. ... The case took approximately six months to conclude, during which time we received little to no communication or updates on its progress. We called several times towards the end and were told that the case had concluded and that we would be contacted by the end of the week, but no follow-up occurred. I had to reach out multiple times over the course of two weeks before finally receiving a response and being asked to come in to sign paperwork. At the conclusion of the case, we were given a $200 check. When I expressed shock and explained that I was over $3,000 in debt due to medical expenses and lost income, I was told, “That’s just how it is,” with no discussion of alternatives or explanation of how the outcome was reached. Given the lack of communication, transparency, and the final result, our experience was deeply disappointing. In hindsight, we would have been better off not retaining legal representation at all.
