Jose Luis Rey

Jose Luis Rey provides legal support and counsel to companies and individuals regarding a wide variety of business matters with an emphasis on real estate, contracts, commercial transactions, advertising, sweepstakes, and game promotion law. José also assists companies and individuals in the areas of employment law; Internet and media law; e-commerce; estate planning; trademark and copyright; shareholder agreements; buyouts; mergers and acquisitions. Past and present clients include advertising agencies, medical practices, real estate investors, import wholesalers, food service companies, clothing manufacturers and Internet companies.

Mr. Rey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Boston University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami. Prior to founding The Business & Real Estate Law Group in 2007, Mr. Rey spent three years in private practice as a founder and managing member of Buchbinder & Rey, P.L., three years as corporate counsel with Terra Lycos (the U.S. internet subsidiary of the Spain-based Telefonica group of companies) and three years as the executive-director of the Screen Actors Guild in Puerto Rico. Mr. Rey is a former member of the South Florida Group of Regional Counsel and a current member and agent of Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, Inc. Mr. Rey writes, reads, and speaks fluent Spanish.
