I was fortunate enough to get an outcome I was hoping for but if I hadn't I would still be writing the same thing, Leticia Die...ppa Esq. is one of the most knowledgeable, intelligent, hard-working, and compassionate Attorneys I've ever worked with. My landlord foreclosed on his property and told me a couple days before a 24 hour eviction noticed was supposed to be posted. I have a couple large rescue dogs and a tight budget, so naturally I was scared to my core. I called in to Leticia's office Monday morning and her assistant informed me that she had court and meetings all day but She made time for me because she understood the urgency. She filed an Emergency Motion to Stay the Writ of Possession within a couple hours. The new owner's lawyer, upon receiving the mandatory copy of the motion, paid over $1,000 to rush the eviction posting because if the eviction could be carried out before the motion was heard it would be too late. The notice was posted right after I left at 4pm and I didn't see it until I returned home at 9pm. I'm usually pretty strong but at that point I was in tears. I sent a picture of it to Leticia and called her. She told me that she would do whatever she could and she made me feel like there was a chance everything would be ok. The next morning she got into the office early and was calling different Judge's offices trying to put pressure to get someone to hear the motion. The Judge who had resided over the entire foreclosure case was on vacation so it was exponentially more difficult than it normally would've been. She also called the Sheriff's office to find out exactly what time the eviction would be carried out. And she began communicating with the new owner's attorney to potentially work out an agreement. She had been on the phone and trying everything she could think of all day until she reached a resolution. She drafted an agreement between the new owner and me to stay the eviction for twenty days, had it approved by both parties, drove it over to the court, and waited there for the judges to get out of a conference for over an hour so it could be signed and submitted to the Sheriff's Department as quickly as possible. She then followed up with both the other attorney and the sheriff's department to make sure the eviction's stay was processed quickly. She went above and beyond her obligations to represent me. She legitimately was trying to help me. Some people think a "good lawyer" is expensive but let me tell you this, money couldn't buy this kind of advocacy. I hope I'll never be close to this position again but if I am and my backs against the wall she's the first person I'll call.

My wife and I hired Leticia to aid in the adoption of my son. From listening to experiences from others, we were prepared for the process to take much longer but Leticia was able to speed it though in just under 1.5 months. Also, she was able to bypass some unnecessary steps which equaled savings for... us. When at the court, it was apparent the staff recognized and respected her. I also previously hired her to prepare my Grandfather's Will. I have recommended her several times and will continue to recommend her in the future.
