Gregory Alfredo Gonzalez

I retained Mr. Gonzalez for a criminal case where I was accused of shoplifting. It is a long story, but my 2 year old daughter had something in the stroller that I did not know about. Mr. Gonzalez reviewed the matter with me and gave me excellent advice. He told me that I could go to trial and tha...t my chances of winning at trial were excellent, but that the State of Florida does not permit the sealing or expungment of a jury acquital. While I was angry at the whole process and at first thought that Mr. Gonzalez was just trying to avoid taking my case to trial, I came to realize that I could not have paid a million dollars for this advice and had a better result. Mr. Gonzalez took a lot of grief from me and at some point stopped taking my calls because I was simply too emotional about the whole thing. Mr. Gonzalez's advice never changed no matter how much I raised different issues about my case. When we showed up to court it was clear that the Court and the State Attorney knew Mr. Gonzalez very well and rolled the red carpet out for him. I did not matter that we had not spoken for a month. He was in court and I just did what he told me. I accepted the diversion program, the case was dismissed and Mr. Gonzalez handled the expungment. That was about a year ago. I recently received a job offer from a major financial institution which required a background check. I stated as advised by Mr. Gonzalez that I had never been arrested or convicted of any crimes involving theft, dishonesty, or fraud. I am now living in New York City in my dream job with lots of responsibility and great income. All I can do is say Thank You!
