personally hired this attorney for a family matter and he actually made me believe he was going to properly represent me, after my retainer fee was taken i never heard back from him. To get in contact with anyone in the office you have to call many times and if you do research on Mr.Kaplans reviews y...ou can see he has done this to many clients, taken their money and gone silent. Also disreguard him answering to negative reviews saying they are fake, he says all negative review are fake. I have proof of hiring Mr.Kaplan and also proof of the lack of communication. I also reported him to the Florida bar for taking my money and not doing a thing for me. Search further before giving your hard earned money to this guy.

In the beginning, I didn't know what to expect; this was the first time I was going through a divorce. I had so many questions and concerns. Worst experience. Greedy for money. Had an agreement for 2000 bucks for my case and ended up paying more than 6500 bucks and case was lost. My ex took injunction against me based on false accusations and I kept on asking him to defend me in court as I had enough evidences to prove myself innocent. In...stated of listening to me, he ended up me accepting indefinite injunction in court. The other party was a free legal aid attorney who did better then him. I went off lot of suffering and it was a horrible experience. Ultimately state investigated the case and I provided them evidence of my innocence and they agreed and dismissed the allegations against me. I asked him to at least represent me in court for dismissal of injunction as I prove my self innocent to the state and they dismissed the grounds of injunction after 3 years. He asked me another fee of 1500 bucks. This man has no soul or shame.

Mr. Kaplan represented me in a messy drawn out divorce. My ex’s unfathomable demands coupled with the delay with courts secondary to the pandemic - cause what I believed could have been a simple divorce to drag out! Mr. Kaplan was professional and eventually help me to get my divorce granted - not on...ly that my ex was not awarded anything that he was demanding including an extension on the preceding ! I am grateful for his professionalism and how he handled this case!

If I could rate him a ZERO. I would. He not only failed to stay on the same page with me during court but also made the situation worse than when I got to him. Philanderer. Thief. Should be disbarred. All he cares about is money. He faked heart attacks because he didn’t want to speak to me when I... called him. DONT HIRE.
