Barbara D. Cass

Barbara D. Cass graduated from St. Thomas School of law after having completed a concentration of study in the areas of Elder Law, Guardianship, Estate Planning, and Tax. She was a clerk to the Honorable Juge Muir in the Probate Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami Dade County. Barbara began her first career as a teacher at an early age. She taught English as a second language, middle school mathematics, and high school English. She was also the principal at MDCPS Alternative Education middle and high school facility and received several honors for innovative programs After she left education, she started her own business in real property management. Barbara is trained as a real estate associate and in community association management. In addition, she is a competent Spanish interpreter and translator. Barbara is a member of the Florida Bar, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar property and probate sections, and the South Miami Kendall Bar Association. She is also an active guardian ad litem volunteer with the Miami Dade GAL program.
