In April of 2008, after a 17 year marriage, I faced one of the most difficult steps I would ever have to take in my life: getting a divorce. As a mother, I was especially concerned about my two small children, ages 8 and 10 at the time. I went to several consultations and left feeling distraught an...d confused. I simply can't thank Bill and Daniel enough! I had interviewed about 5 other firms, but really had no reason to select any of them. None of them stood out from the others, not too mention, I AM NO SAINT AND HAD ISSUES. A close friend referred Bill to me and said go see him tomorrow. I did, and THANK... GOD! Excuse me, thank you Bill and Daniel. Let me share a play-by-play... i met with Bill and unlike the others, I immediately wanted him to represent me (even though I don't know that he was too thrilled at the prospect of representing me). We met 2 days prior to an emergency custody hearing where my X was trying to insist upon court appointed visitation ONLY. Bill listened to my story and truly assessed me for who I was/am. I scratched together as much as I could muster at the time since I was not the primary bread winner, and he agreed to handle the hearing--that was about all I had enough to contract him for "and we would see what happens from there." So we are walking into a situation that he assured me, at best we had about a 50/50 shot of coming out OK; but more than likely I was looking at a fraction of that in all honesty. Then he was allowed to speak. Let's cut to the chase... I walked out of the courtroom after not having seen my kids for the prior 4 months with 50% CUSTODY, and the judge was retaining the right to impose SANCTIONS on my X the next time she would walk into his courtroom! I HAD MY KIDS THE NEXT DAY! Thank you Bill. Thank you Daniel. About a month or so passed and my X fired her attorney and began interviewing new firms. The rest of the case followed suit... Bill and Daniel continued to wipe the floor with opposing counsel resulting in ANOTHER change of representation before the case was finally settled. At the end of the whole thing I am left with far more than I anticipated, but to be honest with you, that is not why I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AND HIRE Mr. GAUTIER... Bill told me first meeting that if I was dishonest with him, he would fire me. Bill told me that, unlike many firms/attorneys, he really does care. Bill and Daniel were honest with me about EVERYTHING. (And after my X, I had become very good at recognizing a lie) Bill saw mistakes by opposing counsel at nearly every step; and almost like a fortune teller, was able to predict and proactively move with an efficacy of nearly 100% accuracy EVERY TIME! Enough... If you are looking for someone that will tell you as it is, If you absolutely need VERY talented and up to date knowledgeable lawyers, If you are looking for an extremely ethical, stand-up, NO BS Counselor, If you want the guy that will out-think, out-work, and out-smart the opponent; If you demand that your separation be fair and YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE, Then let me tell you, I found him, and Thank God for that because I have my kids as much as I could want and I was awarded exactly what I deserved! I am very pleased with the service I received from Mr. Gautier and his firm. When I hired Mr. Gautier to handle my case early March of 2012, it seemed it would be an open-and-shut case. Once my initial filing for divorce was served, things rapidly deteriorated turning my case into a lengthy and ver...y contentious fifteen months, all perpetrated by my now ex-wife. Mr. Gautier, Mr. Silver, and his whole support staff stayed on-point and always worked in my and my children's best interest. I was treated professionally and compassionately during one of the most difficult times in my life. Their commitment to my case was complete and total, even including times in which he, Mr. Silver, and his office staff were off on personal time. My case was settled satisfactorily avoiding a costly and lengthy trial. In addition to my divorce proceedings, Mr. Gautier and Mr. Silver aggressively and professionally handled a bogus charge against me by overturning that charge and having it dismissed as well as convincing the court to levy an order of no contact against the accusing party. I highly recommend this firm for its experience, its staff, and its professionalism.

Gautier's Law firm exceeded my best expectations. I'm divorced for about 15 years. Seems like my case is always going back to court for an upwards modification. Mr. Gautier handled my last modification. It took about 7 months to reach a settlement. Everyone's situation is different, so you shouldn't ...look at my end results as guide. Instead consider the following. I got a hold of them every time I needed them. My communications were brief and direct and never stretched to increase my hourly charges. I was kept well informed of every communication with the opposing counsel. I promptly received copies of every paper filed. Everything was filed quickly and timely. They were very conscious of the cost of my case and often provided sound advice that would reduce or limit my total cost. Their knowledge of family practice is excellent. They communicate with other lawyers within the firm if needed to confirm the laws. When you hire Gautier, you don't hire one lawyer. You hire a lawyer firm.
