To whom it may concern, I wanted to share my experience with the Criminal Defense Attorneys at Coral Gables, FL. Miami is a beautiful place. On a spring break trip almost 20 years ago. I got a couple of tickets on my motorcycle. Who pays out of state vacation tickets right? Those tickets began ...to accrue fines and charges such as a warrant being issued. I had no idea. I had no idea that I would find myself being charged and indicted, along with 6 co-defendants, with conspiracy to possess a controlled substance and money laundering in federal court…and all because I was doing someone an innocent favor! I accepted a $10,000 payment for a friend’s company wh...ere, unknowingly, I was dealing with an FBI undercover agent. I would later learn that I got mixed up with a drug deal and had accepted dirty money. Walter went through all the discovery and found a needle in a haystack… a tape where the co-defendants said that I knew nothing. He also demonstrated that my friend’s company was 100% legitimate. Combined with a polygraph test taken by a former FBI polygrapher, (which I passed) he was able to prove my innocence to the world, including the prosecutor. Walter passionately fought for me over the course of 1 year. He was extremely thorough when looking through an enormous amount of evidence (Discovery) and was determined to prove my innocence. Most appreciative is how he continued to fight until the end. I could not take any plea because of my immigration status. I would have been deported. Most importantly, I was innocent. Thanks to Walter, I was found innocent and the charges were dropped immediately before trial began. He saved me when I needed help and I wouldn’t think of another attorney to trust. I consider myself an organized individual who has earned advanced degrees and whom enjoyed a challenging career. I have traveled around the world and learned from all these experiences.
