Biography
I am a family law practictioner in private practice who specializes in the area of family law. As co-owner and partner at Davis Smith & Jean, LLC my firm handles all areas of family law at both the trial and appellate level. Our firm policy is to zealously advocate for our clients in a way that miminizes protracted litigation. While some of our cases do settle at mediation, we are experienced trial lawyers who will advocate to ensure that our clients rights are being protected to the fullest extent of the law. In addition to private practice I handle at least two pro bono cases every year. Our firm focuses on parenting plans, dissolution of marriage, child support, modifications, paternity actions, asset protection through the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and we are frequently appointed as Guardians Ad Litem to investigate and report to the Courts as to what is in the best interest of children. I am also extremely active in the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, chairing committees and serving as a voting member of the Legislation Committee and the Executive Committee. In my capacity as a member of the Legislation Committee I have participated in drafting legislation for several years.

Best Attorney in South Florida
